M.O.P.s

Well, Seb and I registered for MOPS/MOPPETS today through our church. It was a lot of fun. We had did the whole "picnic in the park" at Harmon Park (as you can tell from the big honkin' boat) and Seb through some water balloons with the other kids and had snacks and juice while I was chatting up some other moms. I think I ended up chatting with about eight or nine other moms in about an hour and a half. They, of course, Seb went crazy driving that big boat and swinging for probably a half an hour. Anyway, MOPS is for Mothers Of PreSchoolers. We get together on Thursdays (starting in September) and someone takes the kids to do crafts, and songs, and play and have snacks while all us little mommies get together and laugh and talk and eat goodies. I don't know what group I'm in yet, but I should know within a few weeks. I'm going to try to get a few friends, and their kids, involved too. If they register through the "Drive-thru" registration in a week or so they'll get a free frappaccino and a goody bag for each child...Sounds good to me. I think I'll go back to re-register. LOL Anyway, if anyone's interested in joining up let me know. It's only about three months long and you can join for the whole time or pay a small fee and just pay each time you go. Hey at least come for the free frapp! hehehe
