Well, Jason and I went out last night for our four year anniversary. I can't believe it's been four years already. I never imagined that when I went to James & Becka's wedding that I would meet the guy I was going to spend the rest of my life with. It's been a fast and bumpy ride, but it sure has been exciting...And I assume that the next four (and then some) are going to be just as exciting as the last four. Just hopefully, not quite so bumpy. We've had some rocky times, I'll admit, but things are better now that we're both under the same roof...It was tough when Jason was in the Navy still and I was here trying to find a place. Anyway, we decided that since we've been running around all over that we'd play it low-key. We went for dinner and dessert at McMinneman's (my favorite place). Burgers are the best anniversary dinner. Too low key? Well, hey, it works for me. It's my idea of romantic and fun. And then, of course we had to order a "black & tan brownie". Those things are the best...So good they should probably be illegal! Then we went up to Pilot Butte and watched the sunset. It was nice and relaxing...Not to mention, kid free! It was nice and romantic, and for some reason, I almost felt nervous on our way to dinner. Wow, it was almost like being on a date with this guy.

Of course, I never leave the house anymore without my camera, so I was forcing Jason to pose for some pictures. How about that brownie though? Looks pretty sinful, huh? Too bad there wasn't anyone to take our picture. I should have asked the waitress to take our picture...I think there's only three or four pictures of us together...We've gotta work on that.

Awesome! Happy Anniversary, I'm glad you guys had a good night. It does sound very romantic. And who cares if it was to low key for someone else, if it was good for you too that is all that matters! Here is to the next four and beyond!
Thanx. Yeah, it was really nice. Well, I've gotta get Seb to story-time. Talk to you later. :)
Hey even if it was low key at least you did something! Cuz I think Asa and I only really did something the first year we were married after that we just both didn't think it was a big deal to go out and do all that! And that brownie I do remember it being very yummy when we went with you guys!
Yeah, I think it's important to celebrate those things, especially since we have to put up with these men...they're more like little boys sometimes. ;P Yeah, that brownie was sinful...Jason and I can't even get through one together. LOL
