So, Saturday was Seb's first trip to the public library here in town...it's bigger than the one we used to go to. And we checked out the "children's room", got the "story time" schedule, and played for a bit. Look at that big smile, Amber would be surprised...he actually can smile! Of course he let out a big "Cheesy!" in the process...but they don't really mean it needs to be quiet in those libraries, right? He sure liked that teddy bear. They have all kinds of themes for story time and different events going on and lots of fun things to do there. They even have the internet for kids. Then Jason found out that you can request practically any movie you want and they will order it in for you so now he thinks we should just go there for free movies instead of ever renting a movie again. Wow, all the ways to save money...aren't we thrifty. haha
And of course, my men weren't quite awake for church on Sunday. They are such slugs in the morning. I even get up about an hour before they do just to get ready, but they roll out of bed and grab a little breakfast and...Poof, there they are looking all cute and matching. I don't know how it happens but they always seem to be dressed the same way on Sunday morning. Then Sunday evening, after baptisms and birthday parties and dropping Seb off at the game with Grandma & Grandpa, Jason and I headed up to the open house to meet new people from the church and learn about new ways to get involved in the church. They have a lot of small groups and, although I don’t think that I want to get involved in the whole bible study thing, I do think that there are some groups there that I can really benefit from. Jason kind of surprised me tonight, opening up like that and really talking with some of the other people. I didn’t think he’d feel very comfortable there but he said he really enjoyed it and I could tell that he’s getting more and more comfy with the church and the people. I love how friendly they are and there’s so much energy when I’m there. I know I really enjoy it because I’m excited about showing up every Sunday and not dragging my feet, feeling like I should go but really struggling to make it to a service. I’m so glad we found a place where we belong and enjoy! I mean, I don’t like to rub my religion in everyone’s face or even discuss it with other people really. I just enjoy it for myself and I think that’s what really matters…is that I like it, and Seb likes it and Jason likes it too.

A real smile!! Man I'm impressed! But that is a cute pic. Glad you guys enjoyed your open house! Are you already over in Ontario right now? Tell Wendy I say hi!!
:-)! I'm glad you found "your" place at your church, that is really important.
Yeah, I'm already over here...debaiting on whether or not to come home tomorrow. Jason said he'd understand if we said but he's really missing us...so what am I supposed to do, eh? Oh well. I'll be impulsive as usual and decide tomorrow, but I'm leaning toward coming home Friday. So we'll see I guess, but I'll tell Wen you said hi.
That's how I feel about the church I've been going to for the past few months. I just love it there! I haven't really gotten to know anyone yet (you know how shy I am), and the girl that invited me in the first place is hardly ever there. But I'm thinkin about joining a small group so I can meet people. I have to find out when they meet and everything. Anyway, I'm so glad you found a great church that you all really enjoy. :)
