Valentine's Day Update...

Okay, I think I told you about my writing "I Love You" on the mirror and getting a snap on the butt with a wet washcloth, right? Well, I was determined to make the day a fun one anyway, so Seb and I waited to hear from Jason at work and then we ran over to Quizno's to get subs to surprise Jason with at work and bring along some little heart-shaped cookies. Cute, huh? You've just gotta love Target. Lunch was pretty nice, other than the fact that it was also shared with Jason's dad and another guy and they all sat there and talked mostly about lunch, but I think Seb was just glad to spend a little time with his daddy and his grandpa too.Jason, in turn, called to ask me and Seb to wait in the bedroom (right in the middle of yoga, of course) and then he set up a margarita glass filled with a chocolate rose, chocolate truffles, and skittles (my favorite) and he gave me a card. It was really sweet!We had beef stroganoff for dinner, which Jason said he really liked, and cupcakes for dessert. Seb gave Jason the bag "Filled with Love" and I gave him his bag with the movie Just Friends, which he's been wanting for a while now, along with a little coupon book (we made them at MOPS a couple weeks ago) that he can redeem with some pretty fun stuff from Seb and I.

Although I did have to run to the store for MOPS food for today and we didn't get to watch a movie, we did have a nice relaxing evening. After Seb went to bed Jason and I took a shower, to conserve water of course, and then we watched CSI: NY and ate a few Oreo cookies. It was nice, quiet, relaxing, a good evening. Maybe next year we'll do something different and go out or something, but this year was really nice.
