This morning my mom called me to let me know that one of my friends' brothers from back home was killed in Iraq! It made me realize how blessed I am to have what I have and to never worry about my husband being in the middle of all that mess. He'll never be in that kind of danger and I'm so thankful!
This country is so torn on the issue of whether or not we should be there and if President Bush is the right leader for our country, and that's fine to feel that way. But there are men and women fighting for our freedom every single day while we're over here flipping people off in traffic and treating each other awful and telling each other that someone is not good enough to be around us because of their heritage. These soldiers shouldn't be risking their lives so we can treat each other like garbage!
I guess what I'm saying, is we are so FREE and so BLESSED because of our soldiers. So let's remember who they are and let's HONOR them! Whether they're here or gone, enlisted or retired, they're amazing for fighting for us, for speaking out when others cannot.
