It's funny thinking back about my pregnancy with Seb. I don't remember just when I started feeling "quickening" with him, but I'm sure it was around 19 or 20 weeks or so but with little Shanon, I've been feeling him moving around since about 16 weeks. Poor Jason has been so anxious to feel him or see him do something, so when he finally felt a little kick, kick (or some movement like that) about a month ago, he was absolutely thrilled! For a while I couldn't get him to stop touching my belly or staring at me...Now it's just as bad or worse. When we were over at my sister's house relaxing after a little gift work on Christmas Eve and Shan started moving around so I put my sister's hand on my belly and she could feel him, it was funny. Then they started staring at my belly and we could see him moving around in there! It's the first time anybody has really seen him moving. Now Jason's staring at my belly every chance he gets. I can't wait until Shanon's moving around enough that Seb can feel him right away or see him really moving. It's not easy to get Seb all excited about it since it takes a little patience still. But we're enjoying it anyway.

That's so cool that other people can feel him moving! Asa got to feel her one night while I was sleeping, he said she kicked him like five times! I was asleep through the whole thing! Glad you're enjoying the kicks :-)
I know, it's so much fun when you can share it with someone else too, huh? I'm just lovin' it!!!
Ahh, wiggily belly babies. I'm gonna miss that....

Ya know... At first I was a little upset you were naming the baby Shannon, in my own way because that is Dakota's dad's name... And ya know how I feel about him... but after reading this blog I'm glad, to have a good Shannon to help me forget about the bad... Like I have any say in the matter anyhow, ha ha... Glad you are enjoying the kicks and everyone else is as well.
