Christmas Tea!

Today was the last day of MOPS for the year. We had a great little "Christmas Tea" and listened to a wonderful choir that came to sing just for our group...It was so nice. We made little "Snowman Soup" jars and enjoyed finger sandwiches and tea and all that good stuff. We received little gifts and shared cute stories about our favorite Christmas memories. It was really a fun morning.
Before the end of our visit, Jenny announced that the 3's, 4's, & 5's group had been working very hard on something for all the mommies. Of course, I didn't have my camera with me and Seb is in that group, so I was pretty surprised but excited. Then all these cute little kids walked in holding a red rope with bells on it, half the kids on one side, half on the other. My little man was toward the back of the group and I couldn't even see him at first. I'm telling you, this kid is so small! Anyway, they stood on the stage (our group managed to snag the table closest to the stage!) and these adorable little kids sang "Jingle Bells" and "Jesus Loves Me" and I was so proud of him that I started crying. Mostly, I think, because this pregnancy I've just been incredibly emotional, but he just looked so cute up there, even though he was smiling at me and giggling and acting shy and not singing too much. He was still the greatest little caroler up there! And I just thought to myself...This is why I had kids!

That's so sweet! I probably would've cried too! Too bad you didn't have the camera, his first performance! So when does MOPS start back up for you?

I know, it was a glimps of what we'll get when he starts school! Jenny may have gotten a few good pics. I'll have to ask her. This was just the last meeting of the year, but it'll be going until the end of May '07.
