Let It Snow!

How about the weather, huh? This afternoon while I was sitting on Jason on the couch, I looked out the window and realized it had started snowing! YAY! I got all excited and yanked the blinds open so Seb could see, who also was naturally thrilled to see all the white. So we put on our snow gear and headed outside to get a few of Seb's toys out of the weather and play in the snow a little bit. After being out there for a while it started to get a bit colder, so we coaxed Seb into the house with hot chocolate and marshmallows. After dinner the boys plan to make chocolate chip cookies. I think it's something about winter weather that turns Jason into a little elf or something, but it's fun to get into the holidays. Christmas really is not my favorite holiday and I usually give my mother-in-law a hard time about it because she's practically Mrs. Clause, being so jolly all the time and forcing us to watch Christmas movies as soon as Thanksgiving is over. But I think with Seb getting older and understanding it more, and me being all pregnant and nostalgic, this holiday season may just turn into our own little winter festival. It's nice being back in a place where snow is a regular thing (along with sunny weather in the summer) and we can really enjoy it with Seb now. It's funny thinking this is our little baby's first Christmas too...hehe, even though he/she can't really see it all yet.
