Just thought I'd update you all on how we're all doing...Seb is so excited about school and having so much fun here! He's certainly kept up his end of the bargain as far as preschool was concerned! Several times now he's called me into the bathroom to tell me he had done what he needed to do and was just needing a little assistance with his "paperwork", if you know what I mean. -I'm so proud of him. He's really been trying hard to be a big boy! I can't believe he's almost 4 years old! He's an awesome big brother too. He's even more loving and gentle with Shanon than I thought he would be. And he tells me all the time how he misses his grandma and grandpa but that he really loves living with Papa and Nana and near his auntie and cousins!
Things are going pretty well with Shan...No more constipation but we're still having trouble keeping his food down. We're hoping to maybe get him on some cereal pretty soon to help him keep his food down. As it is, I'm washing every burp rag he has, and most of our shirts, everyday! We're thinking it might be caused by acid reflux. He has a check-up in a couple weeks and we'll hopefully know more by then.
Other than that, he's really becoming a baby, not a newborn anymore. He's trying to sit up and hold himself up, he's "talking" all the time, trying to suck his thumb (not a binky boy like Seb was)...It's sooo cute! He's learning something new everyday. -So are we for that matter! Oh, and his latest thing is scooting himself across the floor or bed, whatever he's on. He's got quite an unfortunate little bald spot from it too! hehe He doesn't like to sit still for anything and rarely takes naps. He's getting more and more used to "tummy time". When he doesn't want to sit in his bouncer or swing, he pushes up with his feet and arches his back and tries to get out of it. You really have to keep an eye on him! He's so strong, he's constantly trying to push himself off things when he doesn't want to be still. Today I watched him scoot from one end of our bed to the other in just a matter of about two minutes...Never a dull moment with this little guy.Jason's still working hard everyday and making new friends. He's getting ready for hunting season and working on his truck and still makes time for the boys and I and to help my Nana around the house. I think he's really liking it over here...We're planning Seb's party and waiting for winter and hockey season to start...Can't wait!
I've run into a few friends from school over here, which has been nice, and have met some new people who seem pretty awesome too. It hasn't been bad living with my dad and Nana and alternating nights we cook and helping out and spending time with family, but it will be nice to get into our own place next year...I think everyone needs their privacy...Their time to be a family. Jason and I have talked briefly about getting a dog when Shan's older and starting for another baby in a year or so, so we'll see how it goes. Crazy to think like that since Shan's been such a challenge. haha

Glad that things are going so well for you guys!
It's nice to have so much to look forward too!
Geez, what a good daddy Jason has turned out to be! Who knew? A little strange for me since I knew him "way back when" but I'm really pleased that he has been blessed with such an awesome family and that he takes such good care of all of you. Glad you are enjoying your time there and that your boys are moving right along!
*hugs* Let me know when the party is and I will try my hardest to be there! Just a hop, skip and a jump away!
I'm soooo happy for you Courtney! We need to get together...
