Yep, that's right...I named her Gertie! Okay, so I was skimming through my movies the other day and saw "Jersey Girl" (the cute one with Liv Tyler and Ben Affleck, not the old one with Jamie Gertz) and I remembered the little girl being named Gertrude, Gertie for short, so I thought it was a cute name.
Anyway, she's my anniversary present! I absolutely love her, so roomy and big and comfy and has tons of little secret compartments...I could live without the leather seats in the summer time, but that's okay, they've got warmers for winter and I'm going to get seat covers anyway. I do miss my little Pontiac though...Wish I could have kept them both!
Yeah, I think we can officially say I'm spoiled...A Kitchen Aid for Christmas, a Tahoe for our anniversary, I'm hoping for a house for my next birthday. hehe Actually, we are looking for a place, saving up money and paying off bills while we stay with my dad, so hopefully we'll have enough money saved up for a nice little down payment and instead of renting we're hoping to buy our own little place next year, but right now we just really needed a bigger vehicle.

I loved my burb and I LOVE my Tahoe! They are awesome rigs and they do have a nice amount of room!
They are comfy cushy too! Yes the leather is sticky in the summer but it is really nice when you have kids and they spill (or an adult does) and you can just wipe it up and not sit in a wet seat!
