We decided to give ourselves a little break from the "everyday" here in town and went to the lake today. It was warm and sunny and the water was great. The guys spent the entire time fishing while I was taking pictures and playing in the water with them. All together they caught 17 catfish, one managed to slip away, and six bass. We came home with 8lbs 8 oz. of fish...I tell ya, they're all great little fishermen!
The boys always have a great time playing in the water and we found a great sandy place to play in a little cove. Seb found another shell (he collects them), Lucas played in the sand and floated in the water, Shan ventured into the water a little further this time, and Seb talked Jason into a little "Olympic" swimming. They were working on a little free style swimming today. It's always nice to get away from everything we're wrapped up in and just take some family time without phones and tvs and just enjoying being with each other. We love days like this, and we sure need them to keep us all connected.
