Well, the school season starts in exactly one week here and the boys are so excited they just can't wait for it to start. It's been so fun buying school supplies and backpacks and getting them all set up this summer for what's to come this fall. It just seems like yesterday that the school year was ending and already summer is just about over. It's flown by!
I was browsing through some old pictures and came across this one of the boys. It was fall 2009. Seb was just getting ready to start kindergarten, Shan wasn't in any school yet and Lucas was only a couple months away from being born. Shan still looks up to Seb with such admiration. And to think, I thought Seb was growing up so fast.
And now look at them...Seb is starting 2nd grade with a great new teacher (his classroom is just one wing away from his 1st/kindergarten teacher) and Shan is getting ready to start his second year of preschool at his new school which is just down the street. They were all dressed up for their meet & greets, Seb's was today and Shan's was yesterday. They took Shan's picture at his school and he put all his things in his cubby and Seb got to pick where he wanted to sit and put his name at his desk. And I love how they love to dress up for their teachers.
