I'm always knitting or crocheting things when I get bored so here I am making hats and scarves in the 85* heat and Seb decided he wanted to do something like that too. So I showed him a couple times and away he went. I'd say he finished this little orange hat for Harvey in about 45 minutes...? Maybe less. I was pretty impressed with him! I think he's going to make another one for fair next year. One things for sure, he's not afraid to try new things...I love that about him!
Last trip to the library we inquired about a library card. Turns out you can get a library card as young as age 1, who knew? I asked Shan if he wanted one and he said yes so they took all of his information and he got to pick a color for his "necklace" and they hooked a little library card to it. He was pretty excited...He feels like such a big kid!
Lucas has discovered Bob the Builder (God help us) and loves sitting down with a little popcorn once in a while and watching it. I can't believe how much he likes it. I kind of thought we were out of the Bob stage now that the other boys are older but somehow we're back to it again. I think we probably rent two movies a week from the library just for him.
We had a thunderstorm last week. I started off kind of light but before long we were seeing lightening over the house with thunder following right behind it. It was crazy. We saw a flash, heard a huge boom, and the next thing you know both the little boys were running through the house screaming and looking for me. I had these little shadows following me around the house. We put on a movie on to calm them down and keep them in one place...They sat like this for the next half hour. Seb was a big help keeping them calm.
As you know I'm always scoring things off CraigsList...Well I came across a toddler bed and although Lucas won't need it for a while and his crib converts, I thought this would be great for a little train table for a while. They love it so I guess it works out.
