Paulina Falls

A couple of weekends ago Jason took us to Paulina Lake to get away from town a little bit. We had lunch at the lake, walked around, looked at the boats, the boys played in a little cabin they called the "resort", and Jason taught the boys how to skip rocks. Other than coming home with mosquito bites it was a really nice, fun, relaxing day and the views were terrific!

We didn't get to see everything we wanted in the few hours we were out there so we went back again this last weekend. We took the boys to the falls...They thought it was great! We started out at the top, where this cute little couple offered to take our picture (as you can see Shan didn't feel like posing and Lucas was hiding behind my head). And then we walked down to the lower view point...It was a bit of a hike for the boys but it was something we'd never taken them to before and they had a great time. It was so great to just get out away from town with the boys and enjoy a little bit of nature.
