Sorry 'bout that...

Okay, so I lied. We weren't done with Seb's room, but darn it, Target just has the cutest stuff! So the other day my mom and I were at Target looking through the dollar bins in the front and came across some cute, sporty signs and naturally they matched Seb's room perfectly so we decided to get one. We bought the "Homerun" sign, but then I took Jason up there a couple days later and we picked out the "Touchdown" sign, even though Seb wanted the soccer sign. So...Last night I went back up and got the "Goal" sign.

I wish I could say his room is done, but I will be heading to the fabric store in the near future to get some "all star" type curtains for both his and Shan's rooms. However, after that, not another accessory will be added to Seb's room. Honestly. I'm planning to devote my time, and a little money, into getting Shan's room ready. We have gotten all his new clothes, and some hand-me-downs washed, folded and in his little closet. We'll probably try to put the crib up in the next couple weeks, I'm kind of leaving that up to Seb since he'll be helping Jason put it up and we still have to put up "wallies" and get curtains and whatnot. I'm hoping more creativity will come to me after I get a chance to see what his room starts to look like...Even though I think Shan will be sleeping in our room and my dad will be staying in the nursery during his racing weekends.

Don't worry though, I have before pictures to go with the after pictures of Shan's room once it's finally complete. The before pictures look like a bomb went off in there, but it's already looking better and I'm sure we'll have it fairly organized by the time he actually gets here...Just 7 or so weeks left! Then we finally get to meet this little guy and will be starting a completely new adventure. I'm curious to see what his personality will be like...The most I can tell right now is that he's a little feisty, and pretty darn pushy.--I think he's running out of room and trying to make himself comfortable in there. I've been trying to get some video of him kicking and wiggling all over, but he's been a little camera shy. All that watching Bringing Home Baby and A Baby Story has me wanting to videotape some of the labor and maybe the delivery, just so I can remember what happened. That entire time is such a blur that I want to know a little bit about what happened.

Can't wait to see what Shan's room looks like! As for the videotaping, I think it's a great idea to do in the delivery room. We were gonna do that with Taylor and my dad was all ready to start the video but things got a little too crazy a little too quick and the doctor told my dad he had to shut it off....I was dissapointed but if you need a cameraman let me know and maybe I can offer my services to you ;-)

Sounds like things are going well. Seb's room looks very cute. I can't wait to see what you are going to do with Shan room. I hope that Shan will let you tape him moving around; I would love to see that.

God has deffinently given you a wonderful gift to decorate. You and Jason are such awsome people and wonderful parents to seb. You all will do great when little Shan get here. Looks like you'll be getting lots of help from his big Brother Seb.
