Crib's UP!

Hey all, it's been a while, eh? Don't worry though, we're still here...No baby yet! hehe We just got back from my dad's last night. We went over so Jason could help him with the racecar (pictures coming soon) and Seb and I could visit with everyone. And of course, my cute little niece and nephew had to know why my stomach was getting so big! My niece, Megan, wants to know if the baby will be born for her birthday...It's not far off from my due date, actually. I'm getting pretty excited though. Jason and Seb put the crib up Thursday night and it seems so much closer now. I can't wait to see what he's going to look like and for Jason and I to get to share this with Seb. Before it was just the two of us, so it's different this time, but I think it'll be a great new "adventure". I've got an appointment this Wednesday and then every week after that...April 3rd we find out if I'm dilating any, then we can start betting on when Shanon will be ready for us.

As far as being comfortable anymore, I'm not. At least at night when I'm sleeping, I'm waking up constantly to pee, which is my own fault because I have to drink way too much water before bed, but at the same time maybe I'm prepping myself for what's still to come with 2 a.m. feedings and all that good stuff. A new fun thing occured Saturday night and again last night, where Shanon thought he'd stretch out in my belly and jammed his foot (or some other appendage) into my ribs...Boy, I'd forgotten what joy that could be. I woke up thinking maybe going to the bathroom might help, a little yoga here, and back rub there, and trying to push him out of my ribs, good times! Eventually, I get my way and he scrunches back down into a probably, rather uncomfortable position for him, but I'm able to get back to sleep until the water kicks in again.

And, of course, I cracked under the pressure yesterday when nothing seemed to be going right and I was tired from no sleep the night before and uncomfortable and a little grouchy about not being able to reach my water bottle on the floor on my car as we were driving (due to this spare tire on the front of me) that I got teary-eyed and started actually whining and pouting during the most boring part of the drive home...Honestly, I don't know how Jason puts up with me sometimes!

ANYWAY, I wanted to post a few pics of Shan's new crib set...More to come when I get some time (and money) to decorate his room a little. I'm off to buy some goodies for the party tonight. Hope everyone out there in the blogging world is doing well and having fun. Talk to you all later...

Well, we're ready for him!

Rockin' the sports theme!

Seb picked out the "Sully" Monster for Shan. Cute, huh?

Crib looks way cute!
Hope you have a great party tonight. Sorry I can't make it.

As frustrating as this part of pregnancy is..cherish it..you only get to "hog" the baby to yourself for just a little while longer..oh and it is far less needy on the inside! I betcha he is just letting you know that he is cramped and uncomfortable too! It will be over before you know it!
