Pumpkins!

Yesterday we decided to have a nice "stay in" day so we came home from church, cleaned the house, and carved our pumpkins. Technically, I didn't get a pumpkin so I'm debating going to the store today and grabbing one for myself. I did get to help the boys a little while Jason worked on our big pumpkin...It's nice to still be needed by the little men. haha

Since the boys' pumpkins were pretty small we decided to free hand the designs on them because the templates were too big. I helped get Seb started but he did most of the "sawing" himself. Shan, on the other hand, was wielding the saw all over the place so we worked together on his pumpkin. It was pretty nice when we finished his because Jason said he liked Shan's design better than his own.

Seb made an awesome spider (with the exception of Jason drawing it, he did it all on his own!), Shan (with a little help from Mommy) did a smiling vampire, and Jason made a big ol' happy ghost (although, none of us got to see what he was doing until he'd finished). Yep, I'm definitely going to have to get one for myself and carve it up...Maybe something for Lucas & I.
