Yesterday Jason & I took the boys up to Cascade Village for the 4th season of the Pumpkin Massacre. Jason's parents showed up not long before it started and his mom got talked into carving a pumpkin. She's never even used a chainsaw before, but she was one of three women to carve a pumpkin. Tina was the 8th contestant to compete, which didn't give her a big selection of pumpkins since other people kept picking the ones she liked, but she was one of the only people with a plan when she went up there.
- 1st place was the Nascar Husqvarna chainsaw
- 2nd place was a $100 gift card for Cascade Village
- 3rd place was a $50 gift card for Cascade Village
Well, Tina won 2nd place with her version of a "puking pumpkin"!
Seb & I also had our names drawn for the door prizes so I picked a new cd and Seb picked an adorable umbrella that he's going to trade me for. It's black & plaid and oh so "audrey"! We also got goodies from Harry Ritchies, Jamba Juice (note to self: don't ever try that "pumpkin smash" smoothie again!), and Regis Salon. After the massacre was over Jason & I took the boys for a walk, drove Tina's pumpkin home (my car still has an amazing "pumpkin-y" smell to it!), and then came home so I could wash the pumpkin guts out of my hair!
