First they played Budweiser...It was a pretty intense game! Our guys were already getting in the other teams' head early in the game and we ended up beating them 16-3 (for some reason Ump never called the mercy rule).

Unfortunately, some of the Budweiser guys were poor sports about the game and their 3rd baseman decided to take a cheap shot at Jason when he slid in, planting his shoulder in Jason's chin and almost knocking him out. That just got our guys more fired up, one of Jason's teammates warned the third baseman to watch it and our guy Aaron decided to bat even though we'd won the game and sent a message home to Budweiser than even though we're the church team, they can't walk all over us...It was great!

The second game they played was against D&D and they were dominating the game for the first half but unfortunately lost in extra innings by 1 point! I'm sure it was a bittersweet victory for the guys, but we were very proud of our guys!
