Cloverbuds!

Shan joined 4H this year, so he's now a Cloverbud! He was a little apprehensive when we first got to the meeting, especially since he was in a different town and a different school with all but three other boys with kids he'd never met before...BUT, after he got involved in a couple activities he came over and hugged me and told me "Thanks Mom. I love cloverbuds!" So I'm really excited to see how his year goes with this fun new club!

 

After painting jars for their projects they sat down to hear a story about pigs. He even answered one of the trivia questions after they finished the book.

Shan got to pass out all the papers with pig anatomy written on them so they could label their diagram.

Then he got to read off all the body parts so the kids could guess where the labels went. He really liked doing that part.

 

His finished project for the first meeting...A "piggy bank"...We haven't named him yet but what a fun & cute idea. We added the button nose on our own. Gotta love 4H!
