Setting up the trees...

No, we didn't get real Christmas trees this year but my dad gave us a cute little three-footer and we bought a six-footer for the living room so the boys set up the little one in their room. They picked out blue ornaments and a little foam bell for a tree topper and turn the lights on every night at bed time.

We finally got our tree up a few days after the boys put up theirs. Shan did a little elf inspection to make sure all the branches looked realistic and all the little lights were working. Then we finally got it decorated a few days after that.

The boys were all sporting their footie pajamas, waiting for our Christmas movie to start. Even Kodi got in on the action...Although he didn't show quite the same enthusiasm as the boys did. He's such a good little dog, letting us torment him with blinking antlers and photographs.
