This year was the fourth annual I Heart Bend event through our church. Well, Jason got his hunting license back for this season so he was a little preoccupied, this weekend especially since it's the last weekend to hunt our area. But the boys and I went out to collect food for our local Neighbor Impact. We borrowed a wagon from my sweet friend, Heather, and went door-to-door for nearly four hours asking people for their canned goods. We loaded our wagon which was also carrying Lucas, and at times Shanon, and then would take all the loot back to our car to fill our garbage bags. We ended up having four half full garbage bags full of non-perishables for the event! I was so impressed with my boys for sticking with it, through the heat and occasionally rude people we encountered, they just kept on with their job. Seb especially worked hard for us, eating between streets and talking to everyone we saw. They are definitely little men of God we're raising here and Seb is turning out to be a real leader in that department too! I couldn't have been more proud of all my boys yesterday. They did great!
