New & Used

We have been "living simple" for several months and it's been nice and spacious and fun to rearrange, and we've managed to help a few people who were in need of furniture when we were not. But with three little kids running around, Jason & I don't have much time to sit down and relax together for a few minutes and we're definitely missing our cuddly time as a family. We still love our story-time as a family in our big bed but we thought it would be nice to actually having a couch for a while so we starting shopping...And by shopping, I mean CraigsList. We now have a couch (perfect size for our living room and existing furniture) and an overstuffed pillow chair. They're used and "kid friendly" as I call them, but we washed all the cushion covers and oxy-cleaned everything and then febreezed everything and they're pretty comfortable! So, with new furniture came a new seating arrangement...Jason came home yesterday and I'd rearranged the living room and part of our bedroom...I think it took about 45 minutes before he actually noticed everything. haha

As you can see, Shan's really enjoying the new (old) furniture.

Plenty of seating for friends & family now and we've got lots of room to cuddle now...Yay!
