Trick-or-Treat!

This year we decided to take advantage of the cool stuff Seb got from Grandpa for Christmas last year. So he put on all his gear and I got the privilege of drawing on his "moustache", which everyone commented on and the little girls just loved! Some of the adults commented on how cool his guns were and the "stage coach driver" at the Old Mill hollered out to Seb that he "hadn't robbed the bank"! There were a couple other Optimus Primes out there last night but Shan was definitely the cutest...He was getting all the girls' attention, even the women handing out candy thought he was a doll!

We didn't do a ton of trick-or-treating but the boys still had a great time and got enough candy to last a bit. And of course, living out here we didn't have to worry about buying any candy for the neighborhood kids, since there are only two families on our road with kids and they were most likely in town with the rest of the kids on the candy hunt! It'll be nicer next year when we're back in town and have houses to trick-or-treat and kids to hand out goodies too!

Grandma & Grandpa were out of town so we didn't trick-or-treat their house this year but Tutu was in town so she went out with the boys and cruised around seeing our yearly rituals and bumping into friends with us. Seb even ran into a friend from school and I ran into an old friend. It was a fun time for everyone and luckily wasn't too cold. And thankfully I made it through the evening without spoiling the fun for the boys by going into labor...Which, consequently, made me pretty popular at church this morning when I showed up with a huge "pumpkin belly". haha

Seb went as John Wayne & Shan was (obviously) Optimus Prime...They were huge hits with the other kids too!
