At my last ultrasound the technician measured the "little bean" as being a little on the small side. Now, anybody who's seen our boys knows that's pretty typical. I mean, they look like little garden gnomes, they're so tiny. So I didn't really think anything about it when I went it for my 18 week appointment today. But during my ultrasound they "re-calculated" my due date according to the baby's size.
So now I'm considered 17 weeks & 2 days today and supposedly due on November 4th...Which, makes me happy to have longer to process having this baby, and maybe being able to dress up for Halloween and take the boys around town! --Creative costume ideas are much appreciated by the way, since I'll be the size of a pumpkin myself!
Some of the perks of my pregnancy are that I'm still happily sporting all my pre-pregger pants, although I'm loving my new maternity tops, and I've only gained 3 lbs. Yay for walking! I've also been feeling fluttering for about 5 weeks or so and I'm definitely showing a baby belly, it's just lower than the boys were.
We couldn't hear the baby's heartbeat very well because "the bean" was squirming around too much and kept turning and kicking. But, I did get to schedule my ultrasound today so we will hopefully know what we're having in a couple weeks...Of course, I couldn't make it easy on anyone, so I've decided that with all the arguing about gender, there's going to be a poll. Everyone votes or nobody finds out what we're having, which includes Jason...Although he's taking his time. So, if he doesn't tell me by my ultrasound appointment on June 11th then he'll just have to wait until the actual birthday! And hopefully, the bean cooperates so we can find out!
