Adapting...

Shan's had a rough week with Seb at school...Mind you, he only actually goes to school 3 days a week, 4 hours a day. But the last time Seb was in school Shan was too little to remember him being gone, so we've had a bit of "separation anxiety".

Seb's been having a wonderful time, which makes it even more rewarding to us, but now Shan's learning how to do things without Seb. The first day without him was tough, and when he did get home Shan was smashing everything Seb would make...A little cranky about things I guess. But he's been doing better. We've been playing around the house and are hoping to sneak in some story-time next week. I'm glad that I get some Shanny/Mommy time while Seb's at school.--I don't feel guilty giving my attention to Shan while Seb's off doing something special for himself.

Anyway, I thought I'd update you guys on how the boys are. Seb had a field trip today, which he raved about all afternoon, and we've got plans for the boys to play all weekend in the yard while we finish it up...I can't wait! Here a few shots of Shan trying to amuse himself...Don't worry, Mommy stepped in and helped in build some pretty wicked stuff!
