Sebastian was expressing some interest in a summer activity so we decided to sign him up for 4-H...It's never too early, right? Well, evidently it is, since you can't actually be in 4-H unless you're 4th-12th grade.
Luckily, they have "pre-4-H", so he's joining that! we're starting off small to make sure he's really going to like it. So I started the search for a new fur baby, and where else do I look, but CraigsList? Yep, we found him a rabbit...Who doesn't have a name just yet, but Seb's thinking it over and he'll let me know when he picks one.
Pretty cute though, eh? He's a Netherland Dwarf. He's soft and sweet and a little timid, but with a lot of "hands on" work from Seb I think he'll warm up to us all pretty well. The bunny hutch is the handy work of Jason and Seb, who built it from scratch, even the little trays underneath.

I'll update you when we've got a name for the cute little guy...

Very cute, but question? doesn't that metal fencing stuff hurt their little feet??? Does your little fur baby have a place to sit that doesnt' have that stuff on it? Or do they have really tough feet and don't mind it...
Update when you've got a name!!!
You know, I worried about that too. I don't know how tough their feet are, but they're so soft and all, so he's got a little bed in there too. This hutch is just a temporary house until we have more time to build his little bunny "penthouse". ;p
Okay blogger hates me! I have tried to comment on this post like three times!
Yes! Darn craiglist! Actually I am grounded from craigslist, Bath and Body Works and World Market! Ha ha!
I had a friend in high school that had a bunny that was little box trained!
Very cute bunny! That is so cool for Seb to do and it will really be a neat experience for him!
