Jason & I also managed to sneak away from the boy long enough to find Flyte Camp and check out some of their awesome trailers...Even though they were closed it was still fun to cruise by.

We even got a chance to hit the park with some of our friends. It was great visiting with our old neighbors for a while and letting the kiddos reconnect. I think the Crenshaw's will always be some of our favorite Bend folk!

Luke had a blast this last year at ABC Learning Center (Seb, Meg, & Cade's preschool). He made lots of friends and learning to read and had lots of fun experiences with Mrs. Hawkins.

He graduated on to kindergarten along with his buddies Beckett & Johhny. I can't believe how fast he's growing.

This is the most wonderful preschool. All the kids just adore Mrs. Hawkins and we were bummed to learn that she retired. Hopefully the preschool will carry on with the same love of learning she taught all the others but it won't be the same without her.

We made it to the water park with family this summer, our first time ever. We had sooo much fun! We'll definitely have to go at least once a year from now on.

Shan turned 8 years old! He wanted a day to celebrate so we snuck to Nampa, cruised through Hobby Lobby, enjoyed lunch at Olive Garden with Aunty, and then hit the movies to see Home. We were the only people in the entire theater. It was pretty fun!

Shan was our only baseball player this year and, as always, he's very serious about the game. He played on a different league this year with machine pitch. He got a hit every at bat & I think he only got out twice the whole season!

Brandon turned 2 years old this summer. He got lots of awesome gifts! Everything from fun new bath toys & gardening tools to binos so he can see everything while we're out scouting now!

We celebrated with a family trip to the zoo. The most fun part, I thought at least, was when we got to feed the giraffes! I think I could enjoy doing that every single weekend!

The middle boys were in desperate need for an upgrade on their bikes so we got Shan a new one & Luke got his old one. Thank goodness for hand-me-downs! Now they're all properly sized and ready to roll!

Seb's gearing up for his hunting season. He can't hunt until he's 12 though, so he only gets 8 days to get his deer. But he does have a buck & doe tag and we have some good sets up right now so I think he'll be really successful!

Seb is a 6th grader this year so he's officially a middle schooler! He's playing his second year of tackle football and playing clarinet in the band...He's just growing up right before my eyes!
Shan's rocking the elementary school in 3rd grade & even the high school kids think he's a stud. He's playing tackle football this year, his first time ever, and he's really enjoying it so far. He starts games next week!
Luke started kindergarten and has already made friends! His teacher has been at the school a long time (she was one of my friend's Kindergarten teacher!) He loves riding the bus and eating school food, and brings me school work every day!

B & I are getting some good quality time. We get to play and do stuff around the house, and hang out with friends. And I think he's really enjoying being the center of attention but he's always excited see his big brother when they get home from school!

I caught these cuties coming in after school but Seb was staying after for band practice so I wasn't able to snap a picture of him.
The boys also did 4H this year. Shan got a ribbon for his record book for Vale Cloverbuds. He loved is club leader, she was really great! And we got to be in the 4th of July parade throwing candy...One of my favorite parades because everyone is squirting each other with water and it's so hot out!

Seb did sewing this year, which some of his friend gave him flack for, and managed to get a blue ribbon on his record book, a blue ribbon for each of his projects (a pillowcase, a soft box, and a tablet case) and got Grand Champion for his pillowcase, which went to state. Who's laughing now, right?

Jason & I are hunting together this year. I sat the tree stand with him the other day. I loved it! I enjoy hunting for a blind or stalking the deer myself but love sitting the stand with my hubby.

This is my first year of archery and I'm loving it! I loved hunting before but this gives me a whole new appreciation for it! I haven't gotten my deer yet, but I've enjoyed stalking, scouting, and spending some extra time with my honeybee!

Last night Jason got his buck. He shot him at 50 yards. I went out to help him track him and then our friend Cleaver showed up and helped drag him out. He doesn't have a huge rack or anything but I'm so thankful for a hubby that cares more about having meat in the freezer than he does about a "trophy". And like our group always says "Any animal you take with a bow is a trophy."

Of course, one last pic of these faces...Auntie Cyndy went back to Cape Cod to see family and sent our boys shirts & chocolate & gummy lobsters! Can you tell they love their shirts?
