Since our last house was a temporary situation (it was for sale) our very sweet & wonderful friend Ellie found us a more permanent location. Although we can't have indoor pets here (which means our sweet Kodi will be living with my dad a while longer) we absolutely love this house and are hoping the owners will bend the rule to allow our dog after a year of us being here. We can, however, have outdoor pets so a mouser will probably be in our future this spring.
The house is a two story log cabin (with a huge basement on top of that!). The boys' rooms alone are ginormous and Shan & Lucas have decided to become roommates so Seb has his own space and Brandon will soon have his own little nursery as well. Our room has a fantastic walk-in closet and huge bathroom. We have a laundry room and mudroom on top of all the great living space of this house. The front yard has beds for our garden and fruit trees everywhere!
We're about 5.5 miles from the boys' school (which I consider the center of town) and we're surrounded by farmland. We do have neighbors but the closest one is at least a half mile away. Our landlords own the dairy down the road and every night is a beautiful sunset! We don't have any land but the space greatly makes up for it! And I'm already planning for some awesome ugly sweater & Halloween parties. haha
