Yesterday I turned another year older...And as is tradition with us, when there's an event to be celebrated a cake must be made! So I gave Jason a few ideas and since I'm an old school Nintendo girl, that's what I got...
Along with a couple of Wii games I'd been wanting for some time...Wii Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune. Yay! Can't wait to bust them out and play with the fam.

I even got my sweet hubby to put on my new Lolita apron for a quick photo while he was baking my cake. And yes, I did manage to make him smile after a bit of scowling. haha I have to say though, with a date night out with the hubs, listening to live music and going to dinner, family dinner tonight, lots of phone calls, cards, and messages from friends & family, I feel like a pretty lucky person. What a great birthday it was!
