I think sometimes the older kids get less attention and appreciation than the little "new" kids. So I've been wanting to make sure that Seb has something really special just for him. I was so excited when I heard about a place that takes in horses, rehabilitates them and lets kids love all over them...And I was even more excited to hear that it's free!
It's called Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch and it's probably the coolest place around! Every lesson is just for Seb, his horse, and his instructor. And the entire session is spent on whatever he wants. He gets to ride a new horse and meet a new instructor every time he goes out (which is a great thing for him, because he can't try to control everything). He rides the horses, spends time with other adults than just family, and he gets to drive the Ranger (one of his favorite things). We're planning on him riding all summer and building up his confidence by trying new things with new people. He's having a great time, and that's all we could ask for!
