Packing...

Well, a little house hunting trouble has put a couple of hiccups in our moving plans, but we should hear from the rental place early next week. This weekend was the original move date, but it's been pushed to next weekend. I'm pretty disappointed not to be getting back over there sooner, but it gives me more time to pack everything so I'm not feeling quite so pressed for time. All the dishes, movies, linen are packed, and the decorations are off the walls. And the boys are sharing a bedroom so I have turned Shan's old room into a mini storage.
I think I'm running on about 3 cylinders these days...I haven't been to sleep before 2am since Jason left...And that was 25 days ago! --And yes, I'm counting. I'm so grateful for modern technology! The boys get to talk to Jason all the time and see him on the webcam so that makes it a little easier at least. They're pretty cranky these days too though. I know they really miss Jason and want to get settled and not have boxes everywhere, they're even getting snippy with each other. We've been staying busy with stuff for them, visits with friends and family, and movie nights every weekend.
Seb's rabbit died last week. He cried for a couple hours after I told him. It's a real bummer to have to explain the facts of life to little kids. I'm not sure how he died, but we told Seb that we buried Puppet at my mom's house so he has a place to think of his bunny. We still have Kodi & Vern for company, and my god-forsaken fish, Bob, that's never going to die evidently.
Other than that not much is happening. Jason's just as anxious to get us over there as we are to get moved...His parents are being really great about it, trying to help out any way they can, and we really appreciate that. Seb's birthday is only 15 days away and everything is completely up in the air...I'm frustrated because I had this awesome party planned for him with all this great themed stuff and now we're going to end up with a little last minute thing, which will still be nice but not the same. So I guess we'll see what I can come up with, literally at the last minute!
