Well I hope everyone had a great Easter! We had a blast! We went to three different events...Seb had an Easter egg hunt at school and a picnic with his class on Thursday, then we colored eggs with my sister and the kids on Friday. Saturday we went to the high school for the community egg hunt (I forgot the camera). Seb was in the 3-4 group and did pretty darn good, considering how many kids were in his group. He got probably 8 eggs and then played on the ginormous blow up slide and bouncy stuff they had for the kids. Jason took Shan in the 0-2 group, it was so cute, all these itty bitty kids out there...Shan managed to get about 8 or 9 eggs too. He seemed to really enjoy it.
Then Jason went over to help my dad with the race car and the boys and I came home and played with Bear and relaxed for a while. Of course, we waited until the last minute to do our grocery shopping for the holiday but I managed to get a cake done with Seb earlier in the week and then I made a pie (one of my dad's favorites) Saturday night.

Sunday morning we got up, got going, and let the boys check out their Easter baskets from us...Shan got a little bunny with a baseball jersey and a little foam baseball (go figure) and Seb got a set up motorcycles that I don't think he's put down other than to sleep. Then we put together a little basket to take up to my Pappy later on with the rest of the family.

Then it was off to my sister's house. We brought everything in and then some of the adults went out to hide the eggs for the kids. It was a while of everyone being bundled up and waiting for Tutu to get their, but she made it will three minutes to spare. Then it was outside for one of the fastest egg hunts I've seen before...We probably had about 100 or more plastic eggs...The older kids had to hunt in the backyard and check the trees, on the porch, in the bushes, all those good places for hiding stuff. The front yard was Shan's territory but I think he got tired and cold after about five eggs and was ready to come back in after a little bit. After we went in to warm up and eat some goodies the kids went back out to fly their kites and played in the field. After the outside fun we opened Easter baskets and goodies from each other...Jason got me the movie Transformers (which I still can't believe I liked so much) and a Craig Morgan CD.

We ate prime rib, potatoes, and green beans.--It was delicious. The desserts were really good too. Then we went outside again to play some more, even though it was freezing. It was a pretty nice day.
Happy Easter Pappy!
