The Joys of Motherhood

This morning Shanny was playing with his See and Say and when I went to turn it on for him I noticed a nasty little boogie stuck to the arrow in the middle...Ahh, the joys of motherhood!
Seb had his appointment Monday to get his staples out. He got to go to the little surgical room where they took his vitals and turned on The Jungle Book for him, which we watched while we waiting for the doctor and then she removed his staples. It was pretty cool to watch and she was really nice. The only thing he felt was when his hair got pulled with one of the staples. The scab's all gone and there's still a line where his gash is healing but it's looking great compared to what it was before! He's doing awesome at school...Not putting letters together to make words yet, but he knows most of his letters and he's spelling them as well as reading them!
Shan's trying to crawl now. He's up on his hands and knees but he just keeps scooting backwards. He hasn't quite figured out how to get going forward yet. And he's "talking" all the time. He's really quite the little character these days. He still hates his carseat though and whenever we load him in the car he tries sitting up instead of leaning back in his carseat but I don't really know when he'll be ready for a backwards facing carseat instead of his regular baby carseat. We're also working on the whole food thing, in case you haven't noticed the yummy carrots.
Jason's looking to get a promotion pretty soon and he's still loving his job. He's really enjoying it here and has some pretty fun friends. I'm so busy with the boys and helping with my Nana and running errands that I don't even have time for the jewelry thing so I'm debating on giving that a break right now. And one of our friends is pregnant, with what we're hoping will be a boy, so we're really excited about that too! We're getting a routine down pretty well and we're just trying to save up money and pay off any little remaining bills so we can buy a house in a couple years when Seb's going to start Kindergarten. Anyway, that's about all that's new right now...Here's some new pics.
