Easter '14

This year I got to color Easter eggs with the boys while Jason took pictures. We went old-school and colored them with plain old food coloring instead of those little kits. haha 

They did an egg hunt in town at the park. Lots of their friends were there and they got lots of goodies. The community eggs are filled with candy and some have paper slips in them. The kids trade the paper for prizes (up to five each). Shan & Luke both got two prizes and Seb got somewhere around 11 so he gave some of his papers to his buddies.

 

We also did an egg hunt at our house. Seb helped me hide them and then they all hunted for them. They had a great time racing each other to find all the eggs. Brandon was a little less interested in putting eggs in his basket and just wanted to gnaw on all his goodies. haha It was a fun first Easter for him anyway.

 

We finished the day with a nice family dinner with Papa and Wen & the kids. The food was great, and so was the company. Hope you all had a nice, quiet, enjoyable holiday as well.
