Well, it's official! My little baby is now a two year old toddler. I can't believe how fast it's flown by but I've loved ever minute of it. He's now in a little wooden toddler bed, wearing 2T clothes (I know, it surprises me too), and talking all the time! And since he's always climbing things or hanging from stuff we decided to go with a monkey cake for his birthday...
Here it is. It's not Curious George but I do like it. I did the cake and the little tuff of hair and Jason did the eyes, nose, and mouth (out of tootsie rolls). Cute, no? We didn't do our usual pound cake since there wasn't much to the cake so we went with a yellow butter recipe and chocolate & cream cheese icing instead.
The gifts were a big hit! He was playing with everything last night and hasn't stopped for a breather yet this morning.
