Okay, who's seen the movie? Wasn't it hilarious? And perfect for my life I know. Well, I had a moment from that movie today. It went something like this...

Seb: "Mom, can I get my camera?"
Me: "Sure."
Seb: "Where's it at?"
Me: "In the top drawer of the hutch. Let me know if you need help getting it, and don't stand on the crate."
Seb: "Okay, I think I can get it..."
Seb: "...Mom, are these my baby teeth?"
Me: (this is where my little thought bubble dropped the F bomb but for PG ratings we'll imagine it went more like this) "OH CRAP!"
Yeah, guess who knows the big tooth fairy secret now?! Poor little guy! I explained to him that I'm his tooth fairy and I'm very sorry for tricking him. I asked if he was upset with me and he said no but he really thought all that time that a little fairy was coming to get his teeth and leaving him goodies. And then he gasped, wiped the tears away, and asked with a rather startled expression on his face "Does Dad know?". Oh my gosh, how precious is this kid, I ask you? Now it's only a matter of time before he figures out that if the tooth fairy isn't real Santa might not be either, a sad truth that my niece & nephew learned recently. It breaks my heart when they find out the truth...That sweet magic is supposed to last their childhood but it seems like kids are just growing up faster and faster these days or I was just incredibly naive when I was younger, probably the latter. Not to worry though, he has been sworn to secrecy for his little brothers' sake!
