Seriously?!

Some days it just feels like we're only going backwards. Do you know what I mean?

*Three more of the houses we like just went "off the market";
*Two of Shanon's two nails have slowly decided to fall off-possibly due to a previous illness;
*Jason & I haven't had a date night since before Christmas-depressing (unless you count sitting in the back of church worshipping and holding hands, yeah, I know, pathetic. haha);
*I'm heading back up to the clinic for another yet dose of antibiotics to try to clear up this infection before my finger just decides to fall off, thus postponing my blood donation;
*I haven't seen any of my girlfriends in so long I've forgotten what they look like...

So I'm drowning my sorrows with a Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade and watching House Hunters International...Talk about salt in the wound!

Blah blah blah, rant rant rant...Oh well, tomorrow is another day and like Aunt Virg says "it's only temporary". Sometimes it's just hard to remember that.

So the positives: taxes come back in approximately a week (yay!), I'm getting new tires next month, Seb's coach from last year wants to keep the team together for this year (super yay!), we have a great rental and amazing landlords, I have a job and a paycheck of my own (woo hoo!), bills are getting paid off, we have fabulous people all around us, I'm staying busy making "yarning" like there's no tomorrow, and I'm celebrating another birthday next month (eeeh!).

As far as the rest, I'll try to keep you updated. Hoping for news about a house (sooner, rather than later) and get my flippin' finger (literally, that's the one) healed before the end of the year. haha
