Christmas letters have been handed in and a visit with Santa (complete with candy canes) can now be marked off the to do list. I was very proud of my boys, being honest with Santa that maybe they could have worked a little harder at making the Nice List and making promises to strive for it next year. They each asked for only one thing, a Bionicle, and enjoyed visiting with Santa and smiling for their picture. Lucas, on the other hand, was a little unsure of this big man in red and refused to crack a smile for any of the pictures. He did tolerate being held by him though. He did, however, just get his first hair cut that day too before racing over to "Santa Land" so he'd pretty much considered that a full day and was ready for a little down time when we finally got home. Now, they just can't wait to see if Santa brings them what they asked for this year!
